so grown up

When I met this family, they had three kids and their baby was 2. Now they have four kids and their baby is 6! They have grown up so much, and are such an amazing family!

I loved that I was able to try out a new location with this family, and it was such a fun place! I would love to do more photo shoots here and explore more of what Old Town has to offer. I also love that the Mom in these photos grew up in this area so it's a meaningful place for their family.

Or do I? He's twelve, not thirTEEN, so maybe we have another year ;-) We have 4 birthdays within 4 weeks of each other in our family, hence the onslaught of birthday photos. October-November are basically just one big party around around here. And then we roll into the holidays! But, I digress...

The twelve year old boy must be a good kid because he didn't complain, even a little bit, about his Mom wanting to do a photo shoot on his birthday. He is really such a great kid and I feel lucky to have him in our family.

Another mini session that is dear to my heart, because I am lucky enough to be his mom! I sure love this boy. He has been watching me edit photos on my laptop lately and he asked "where's me?" So, I decided he needed a photo shoot, too :) He also recently turned 3 so I think I may start a tradition of doing mini photo shoots of my kids around their birthdays.
